Dr. Jeffrey R. Millman is the Alan A. and Edith L. Wolff Professor of Endocrinology and Professor of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. His laboratory has pioneered methods to generate functional stem cell-derived pancreatic islets, enabling scalable production of insulin-secreting cells for diabetes cell replacement therapy. These advances have helped establish the scientific foundation for multiple biotechnology programs developing stem-cell-based therapies for diabetes. Dr. Millman is Co-Founder and CEO of IsletForge Innovations, a biotechnology company developing next-generation engineered stem cell-derived islets for universal donor diabetes cell therapy.
